Lleida implements traffic safety measures in Pardinyes

The Lleida City Council is implementing several infrastructure measures in the Pardinyes neighborhood to improve traffic safety and reduce accidents.

Immediate works include the installation of two raised pedestrian crossings on Miquel de Cortiada street and a speed reducer on Rosa Parks Avenue. These installations involve temporary traffic diversions in the area.

Additionally, the city will install a non-sanctioning speed detector on the Pardinyes bridge to inform drivers of their speed, alongside new pedestrian-activated traffic lights. These measures follow recent fatal accidents in the area and are part of a broader initiative by the local government to identify and improve high-risk traffic zones through better signage and urban planning.
