Lleida: Junts demands reinforced cleaning services

The Junts per Catalunya municipal group in Lleida is demanding extraordinary measures to reinforce street cleaning and waste collection services. The request comes in response to ongoing issues with overflowing containers and accumulated waste in various parts of the city.

Spokesperson Violant Cervera stated that while a new cleaning contract is expected to improve service quality, the city cannot wait for its full implementation to address current sanitation problems. Junts is calling for increased frequency in container emptying and specific monitoring of areas with recurring incidents during this transition period.
