Lleida mass brawl leaves five injured including four minors
A large-scale brawl involving approximately one hundred people broke out on Saturday night in Lleida, Spain, near Rosa Parks Avenue. The confrontation, which took place in the area between the Balfía and Barris Nord neighborhoods, resulted in multiple injuries.
Reports indicate that the clash involved groups using knives, baseball bats, belts, and other objects. The casualties include at least five injured individuals, four of whom are minors. Specifically, three people sustained knife wounds—including two minors—and one person was injured by blunt force. Victims were transported to the Hospital Universitari Arnau de Vilanova and the CUAP Prat de la Riba.
Law enforcement agencies, including the Mossos d’Esquadra and the Guardia Urbana, deployed significant resources to manage the public disorder. Police are investigating the incident, with some witnesses suggesting the violence may have been a premeditated retaliation for robberies and assaults that occurred in the same area 24 hours prior.
