Lleida race Pujada a la Seu Vella adopts permanent route change

The Pujada a la Seu Vella running race in Lleida will implement a permanent change to its route starting with its 45th edition on December 13. The modification is a direct consequence of the construction of the new bus station at Príncep de Viana.

To prevent interference with vehicle entry and exit at the new station and to ensure participant safety, the Paeria and local urban guard requested a new path. The new route will see runners proceed along Avinguda de Prat de la Riba to the roundabout at Carrer Baró de Maials. From there, the course will turn right toward the Pardinyes Bridge, crossing Avinguda de Tortosa, and then turn right again to pass under the bridge to connect with Camí de Granyena.

This change is considered definitive and will be maintained for future editions to adapt to the city's updated urban configuration. The traditional 10-kilometer race is scheduled to start at 10:30 AM.
