Sports clubs in Lleida are preparing for upcoming seasons amidst roster changes and facility concerns. The basketball club iLERNA Lleida officially presented four new signings: Darius McGhee, Aurimas Majauskas, Mark Hughes, and Zacharie Perrinhan. Sporting director Joaquín Prado noted that the goal is to integrate these diverse profiles to build a competitive team for the Liga Endesa.

Meanwhile, the football club Atlètic Lleida faces uncertainty regarding its season opener at the Camp d’Esports. The stadium was temporarily closed following the detection of legionella in the water system. While repairs have been completed, the club is awaiting official authorization to resume use. President Xavier Bartolo stated the club is considering playing their upcoming match against Cornellà at Ramon Farrús or requesting a schedule change.
