Lloret de Mar awards 1.5 million euro contract for new Fenals nursery school

Lloret de Mar has awarded the first phase of construction for a new public nursery school in the Fenals neighborhood. The project, valued at approximately 1.5 million euros, aims to expand the municipality's public early childhood education services.

Initially, the facility will provide 57 places for infants in the first cycle of early childhood education. The project is designed to be implemented in phases, allowing for future expansion to a maximum capacity of 107 places as demand increases. This will become the third public nursery school in the municipality, joining the existing Els Pops and Lola Anglada centers.

Algeco Construcciones Modulares SLU has been awarded the contract for 1,517,812.47 euros, including VAT, covering both the execution of works and the drafting of basic and executive projects. The construction will take place on a site currently used as a dog park, which will also undergo a complete renovation.
