Lloret de Mar residents denounce wild boar hunt near homes

Residents of the La Creu de Lloret urbanization have filed a formal complaint with the Mossos d’Esquadra following a wild boar hunting expedition conducted on October 7, 2026. The La Creu de Lloret Neighbors Association reported that the activity took place within and immediately adjacent to residential areas, causing significant fear and uncertainty among locals.

According to resident testimonies, gunshots were heard within ten meters of homes, and hunters were observed on private property. The association is seeking clarification regarding the authorization of the hunt, the safety distances maintained from dwellings, and whether proper information and security measures were implemented to protect the community.
