Llucmajor celebrates 480 years of traditional markets

Llucmajor is celebrating its 480th year of market traditions with a series of cultural events and festivals running through October 19. The festivities include the XLVI Mostra Llucmajorera, which features various exhibitions and cultural proposals along Passeig Jaume III.

Key highlights of the program include a local product tasting at the Claustre de Sant Bonaventura, equestrian shows, dog agility demonstrations, and a drone show scheduled for the night of October 17. The celebrations culminate on Sunday, October 18, with the Darrera Fira, featuring the Mostra Ramadera, which showcases livestock, local breeds, and falconry.

Other scheduled activities include film screenings, charity concerts, and traditional music performances, providing a variety of programming for families and visitors interested in Mallorcan culture and gastronomy.
