LMS to host webinar on UK property market reform
LMS will host a live webinar on 17 September titled ‘Property Market Reform: Making Sense of the Moving Parts’ to address the increasing number of reform initiatives and policy developments within the industry.
The session aims to clarify how various organizations—including the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG), the Open Property Data Association (OPDA), the Digital Property Market Steering Group, and the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT)—are collaborating to create a smart, data-led property market. The goal of these reforms is to facilitate the sharing of trusted information among lenders, conveyancers, and estate agents to reduce delays and duplication.
The panel will feature industry leaders including Travis Scholes of LMS, Maria Harris of the OPDA, Leon Ifayemi of CFIT, and Beth Rudolf of the Conveyancing Association. The discussion will focus on how these initiatives connect, where responsibilities lie, and how stakeholders should prioritize their engagement over the next 6 to 12 months.
