Lünen opens new running routes for IGA 2027

New running routes have been officially opened at the Seepark in Lünen, a designated site for the International Garden Show Ruhrgebiet 2027 (IGA 2027). The routes were developed through a collaboration between the Football and Athletics Association of Westphalia (FLVW), the city of Lünen, and IGA 2027.

The four new routes connect three different park areas and provide free access to the IGA grounds at Viktoriapark. The project aims to integrate sport and community movement into the theme of sustainable living, which serves as the guiding principle for the upcoming garden show scheduled to take place between April 23 and October 17, 2027.
