Lünen's Brunnenfestival 2026 set for July 10‑11

The 38th Brunnenfestival will take place in Lünen’s city centre on Friday 10 July and Saturday 11 July 2026. Two stages are planned: the Main Stage on the Theatre parking lot and the Alternative Stage on the Pfarrer‑Bremer parking lot. Entry is free on both days. Evening programmes feature 90s‑era DJs such as Woody van Eyden and CrayCee & 5ound, while pop singer Leony headlines the Main Stage on Saturday. The Alternative Stage offers a sub‑mainstream lineup including Uwe Against the Machine, Arrested Denial and Phantoms of Future.

The festival coincides with the federal cycling meet, expected to draw several thousand visitors and cause road closures on key streets. Public transport options include regional RB 50 and RB 51 trains to Lünen station, with the venues within walking distance. Visitors are advised to allow extra travel time and follow posted detours.
