Lương Thị Thảo leads rural development in Nghệ An village

Lương Thị Thảo, the village head of Ồ Ồ Già Hóp in Nghệ An Province, has led significant local development efforts to transform her community from a disadvantaged highland area into a model of self-reliance.

Since being appointed as the Party Cell Secretary and village head in 2017, Thảo has focused on overcoming infrastructure challenges, particularly regarding transportation. To improve local roads, she coordinated a collaborative approach involving state resources, local cement registration, and support from nearby stone quarries. She also mobilized residents to contribute funds, materials, and labor, following a principle of joint effort between the state and the people.
