Lünten Shooting Club Crown New King and Queen at 175‑Year Jubilee
The Lünten shooting club marked its 175th anniversary in 2026 with a festive celebration. During the event the club presented a new royal pair, Matthias Resing and Edith Baumeister, as king and queen.
The ceremony also highlighted three honorary couples – Jutta Resing & Jürgen Baumeister, Anja Willing & Markus Willing, and Walburga Wittebrock & Carsten Wittebrock – who form the throne succession. A bird‑shooting contest determined the winners, with Matthias Resing hitting the target and receiving the title. Other contestants Christoph Hösing and Martin Ahler participated but did not win. The coronation ball took place at 15:05, where the new king and queen received many congratulations.
