Lào Cai and Khánh Hòa implement new regional management regulations

Lào Cai province has issued new directives to strengthen the management of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and other flying devices to ensure airspace safety. Vice Chairman of the Lào Cai People's Committee, Giàng Quốc Hưng, signed document 10756/UBND-NC to increase public awareness regarding flight restrictions. The province aims to prevent unauthorized UAV use, kites, balloons, and laser lights from interfering with civil and military aviation operations. The provincial police will lead efforts to monitor and handle violations.

In Khánh Hòa province, authorities have directed departments to implement measures to manage air quality and control emissions. The Department of Natural Resources and Environment is tasked with developing a provincial air quality management plan for the 2026–2030 period, aligned with national action plans. Key measures include stricter monitoring of dust at construction sites, requiring contractors to use protective coverings and water spraying to mitigate pollution. Authorities will also increase inspections of major emission sources to protect public health.
