Lào Cai authorities rescue man from 20-meter ravine

In Lào Cai province, local authorities and residents successfully rescued a young man who fell into a 20-meter deep ravine during a rainy night. The victim, identified as Lý Thanh Ngọc (born 2003), lost control of his motorcycle on a slippery curve of Provincial Road 162 while traveling from Văn Bàn toward Bảo Thắng around 10:00 PM on September 6.

After lying in the ravine for approximately four hours, Mr. Ngọc was located by the Văn Bàn Commune Police and local citizens. Despite the difficult terrain and wet conditions, rescuers reached him and brought him back to the road surface. He was subsequently transported to a medical facility with a broken right arm and left femur. His condition is reported as stable and not life-threatening.
