Léo Club Ouagadougou Zénith launches cancer awareness campaign

The Léo Club Ouagadougou Zénith, in partnership with students from the Université libre du Burkina, held a conference and theatrical performance in Ouagadougou on October 21, 2026. The event focused on raising awareness regarding breast and cervical cancer.

Part of the ‘On SEIN’plique’ project, the initiative aims to educate young people on prevention, early detection, and combatting these diseases. Club president Haoua Naïma Go emphasized the importance of early awareness and healthy behaviors.

The campaign includes various activities scheduled from October 21 to 24, 2026, such as local awareness sessions, prevention workshops, breast self-examination training, and a digital campaign running through October 31.
