LO opens new center at Gardermoen airport
The Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) has opened a new center at Gardermoen airport. Located at Fridtjof Nansens veg 17, the facility is intended to serve as a central hub for members and union representatives working in connection with the airport.
The opening was marked by a speech from Transport Minister Jon-Ivar Nygård. Torbjørn Ness, the regional leader for LO in Oslo and Akershus, stated that the center aims to strengthen organized labor within the aviation sector by providing space for meetings, courses, and collaboration to ensure safe and high-quality workplaces.
