Lobbyist messages reveal access to Lula and FAB flights

WhatsApp messages from lobbyist Roberta Luchsinger reveal she claimed to use Brazilian Air Force (FAB) flights and had access to the Palácio do Planalto and President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s residence. In messages sent to her mother in March 2023, Luchsinger referred to traveling to Brasília via ‘aero Lula’ and confirmed she was using the president’s aircraft.

Records obtained through the Access to Information Law confirm Luchsinger entered the Palácio do Planalto in March 2023. Other messages indicate she frequented the president’s office and had contact with Fábio Luís Lula da Silva. These revelations contradict statements made by President Lula during a TV Globo interview in August, where he claimed he had never met or spoken to Luchsinger.

Luchsinger and Fábio Luís Lula da Silva are subjects of ongoing Supreme Court investigations, including an inquiry into suspected influence peddling within the Ministry of Health.
