Lobería students recognized for scientific research project

Students from the Instituto Calasancio Divina Pastora in Lobería, Argentina, have received recognition for their scientific project, “La ciencia Cristaliza en Argentina”. The project earned a Special Mention in the National Crystal Growth Contest, organized by the Argentine Association of Crystallography (AACr) and CONICET.

Fifth-year students Felipe Ledesma, Abril Vidal, and Donella Retta, along with teachers Mariela Bravo and Viviana Fernández Vacarezza, were honored by Mayor Pablo Barrena. The institute was the only educational establishment in the Province of Buenos Aires to be distinguished in the national competition.

To support the students, the Municipality of Lobería is providing an economic subsidy to cover travel costs to Río Cuarto, Córdoba, where the group will present their research.
