Local Action Groups (GAL) in Italy are launching initiatives to support economic and social development in rural areas.

In Molfetta, GAL Ponte Lama held a technical meeting regarding the ‘Start&Go’ call for applications. The program aims to assist citizens and businesses in starting new economic activities or diversifying existing ones. Supported by various professional orders, the initiative covers sectors such as commerce, crafts, catering, tourism, and cultural services.

In Montalto delle Marche, GAL Piceno is organizing a participatory workshop focused on a 531,000 euro call for rural, local, and ‘Smart Villages’ development. The workshop aims to design innovative services, specifically focusing on teleassistance, telemonitoring, and active aging through public-private partnerships to address the needs of rural communities.
