Local administration updates in Alba and Hunedoara counties

The Alba County Council has proposed a new draft decision regarding urbanism and construction taxes for the year 2027. Currently under public consultation, the proposal outlines varying fees for urbanism certificates based on land area. In urban environments, fees range from 6 lei for up to 150 square meters to 14 lei for larger plots. Rural areas will face fees at half the urban rate. Construction permits will be calculated as a percentage of work value, with residential buildings taxed at 0.5% and other constructions at 1%. The project also suggests eliminating a 15 lei fee for certain certificate and permit approvals.

In Hunedoara, municipal authorities have issued clarifications regarding the implementation of parking fees near the Policlinica area. Local officials stated the measure aims to ensure parking availability for hospital patients. The administration noted that prior to the taxation, spaces were frequently occupied for long periods by vehicles unrelated to hospital activities, including cars listed for sale or secondary family vehicles. Officials emphasized that the goal is not financial gain, but rather improving access for citizens, noting that a monthly subscription option of 30 lei is available.
