Local administrative and training updates in Argentina

The Municipality of Bahía Blanca has announced a temporary change for residents applying for their first driver's license. Due to ongoing updates to the municipal virtual platform, which is currently out of service, applicants must instead complete the free and mandatory National Digital Road Safety Education Course provided by the National Road Safety Agency (ANSV).

While the training is conducted through the national platform, the municipal theoretical exam remains a mandatory requirement. Applicants must still pass the local evaluation to obtain their license. This temporary measure will remain in effect until the municipal training platform is fully updated.

In Baradero, the Mirgor Foundation, in collaboration with the local municipality and the SMATA union, has opened enrollment for the Basic Initial Course (CBI) for Production Operators. This theoretical training program is designed for individuals aged 18 to 45 who have a high school diploma but no prior industrial work experience.

Selected participants will undergo training on October 27, 28, and 29 at the UNSAdA community center. The program aims to provide foundational knowledge regarding industrial plant dynamics and essential workplace competencies such as teamwork and interpersonal communication.
