Local administrative updates in Crosia and Lissago
In Crosia, Mayor Maria Teresa Aiello has addressed opposition criticism regarding the Associated Structural Plan (PSA). The administration claims to have accelerated a process that began in 2008, reaching a significant milestone on October 5 with the conclusion of the evaluation phase for observations. The PSA is considered vital for the development of the territory, which is the third largest urban area in Calabria.
In Lissago, local authorities conducted a raid on illegally occupied public housing units on via Conte Biancamano. Following public pressure and a petition led by councilor Franco Formato and neighborhood watch groups, the Local Police and State Police secured the building and sealed the apartments. The intervention follows weeks of resident complaints regarding public order issues, urban decay, and sanitary concerns.
