Local agricultural and cultural events held in Tonco and Clusone

The Agrifiera event in Tonco recently concluded, focusing on the promotion of local territory through environmental awareness, fashion, and agriculture. The fair featured a variety of activities, including a silent walking tour through the hills, a fashion show titled ‘Moda in Monferrato’, and visits to local farms to observe livestock and agricultural machinery.

In Clusone, the Lirù plateau marked a significant agricultural milestone with its first-ever grape harvest. Initiated by Attilio Fantoni and managed by his family, the project transitioned the area from traditional corn cultivation to viticulture. The vineyard, which includes Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, Lagrein, and Pinot Nero varieties, is expected to produce approximately 2,000 bottles from the initial harvest area.
