Local anniversaries celebrated by Saquella 1856 and Pomini

Two long-standing Italian companies recently held large-scale public celebrations to mark significant historical milestones.

In Pescara, Saquella 1856 celebrated its 170th anniversary with a three-day event in Piazza della Rinascita. The festivities included immersive experiences regarding coffee production, from raw material selection to roasting. A notable highlight was the philatelic cancellation ceremony on October 24, featuring a commemorative stamp dedicated to the company as part of a series recognizing excellence in the ‘Made in Italy’ production system.

In Castellanza, Pomini hosted an open day to commemorate the company's 140th anniversary. The event drew over 800 visitors to the production site, where a theatrical performance retraced the industrial history of the firm. The initiative was promoted by Pomini Tenova, POMINI Long Rolling Mills, and Pomini Rubber & Plastics, the three entities representing the evolution of the original brand.
