Local art and literary exhibitions held in Brazil

Educational institutions in Brazil are hosting exhibitions to promote literacy and artistic expression. At Escola Ninho Sorriso, a literary fair focused on Brazilian authors such as Ana Maria Machado, Monteiro Lobato, Ruth Rocha, and Ziraldo. The event included research into biographies and works, featuring a special session with author and artist Maria Antonieta Gonzaga Teixeira, who shared painting techniques and hosted a literary recital.

In Mogi Guaçu, the Escola Municipal de Iniciação Artística (EMIA) is hosting the “Arte em Cada Detalhe” exhibition. The showcase features various manual crafts and artistic expressions produced by students, including embroidery, crochet, fabric painting, ceramics, and sculptures. The exhibition is open to the public for free at the Centro Cultural until October 29.
