Local art exhibitions open in Poiares and Foz Côa

Two new art exhibitions have opened in Portugal, highlighting local talent in the regions of Poiares and Foz Côa.

In Poiares, visual artist Beatriz Almeida is presenting her first solo exhibition, titled ‘De Caras’, at the Centro Cultural de Poiares. The collection features works developed over the last two and a half years, blending figurative and abstract elements with influences from Expressionism and Cubism. The exhibition is open to the public until September 26.

In Foz Côa, the Centro Cultural de Foz Côa is hosting a collective exhibition titled ‘A Arte que nos Une’. The showcase features works from 22 local artists, encompassing various mediums such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, installation, and performance. The initiative aims to promote dialogue between artists and the community while celebrating local identity.
