Local art markets scheduled in Bergisch Gladbach and Pieschen

Two upcoming art-focused markets are being organized in Germany. In Bergisch Gladbach, the Terre des Hommes art bazaar will take place on November 14 and 15, 2026, at the Bürgerhaus Bergischer Löwe. The event features over 80 regional artisans selling handmade goods, alongside traditional crafts from Burkina Faso and fair trade items. All proceeds from the bazaar will benefit the children's rights organization Terre des Hommes.

In Pieschen, organizer Nico Niese is planning an art Christmas market to run from November 20 to December 23 at the Riesaer Straße pedestrian passage. The event aims to showcase handmade items such as jewelry, woodwork, and floral arrangements, explicitly avoiding mass-produced goods. Organizers are currently seeking additional artists and craftspeople to occupy the available pagoda tents.
