Local artists host Open Studio events in Peine and Rheinfelden

Local art communities in Germany and Switzerland are hosting ‘Open Studio’ events to provide public access to the creative process.

In the Peine region, the association KiP – Kunst im Peiner Land e. V. has organized 29 art locations. The event spans from Eddesse to Ilsede, including Soßmar and Vechelde, showcasing diverse disciplines such as painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, and textile art. Organizers Vera Szöllösi and Heike Hlinski emphasized that these studios allow visitors to witness the creative journey and engage in direct dialogue with artists.

In the Rheinfelden area, a similar initiative featured 42 artists, with 25 studios open to the public across Rheinfelden and Möhlin. The event included presentations at the Kurbrunnenanlage and the Bohème Art-Restaurant. Organizers Bettina Costa, Margrit Imper, and Gabriela Lützelschwab reported a successful turnout, noting that the atmosphere facilitated meaningful exchanges between creators and visitors.
