Local athletic and hiking events held in Spain

The Club de Montaña Javieres completed a hiking segment of the GR-15 route, traveling from Acumuer to Castiello de Jaca. The group of 55 participants navigated various terrains, including the Aurín river and the Santa María de Iguácel hermitage, while facing changing weather conditions.

In Albacete, the Club Atletismo Hellín participated in the X Trail de Yeste, a 21-kilometer race held in the Sierra del Segura. Javier García Carrillo was the club's top male finisher, placing 18th overall. In the women's category, Carmen López López finished fourth with a time of 2:21:29. The event, part of the ‘Ferlabs’ Provincial Trail Circuit, saw 118 runners compete in the main race despite the threat of rain.
