Funded by over £10 million in levelling-up grants, the scheme aims to connect the Burtonwood Community Centre to Clay Lane and Chapel Lane. The project is designed to enhance connectivity to employment hubs in Omega and western Warrington while providing safer pedestrian and cyclist corridors.

In New South Wales, Australia, Willoughby Council has launched community consultation for a 2.4km cycleway project connecting Chatswood, Artarmon, and St Leonards. Funded by the Get NSW Active program, the project includes dedicated two-way bicycle lanes, 14 new crossings, and traffic calming measures. The plan involves streetscape upgrades, new landscaping, and a net reduction of 92 car parking spaces across the corridor to prioritize active transport.
