Local authorities announce public transport updates in Moldova and Romania
Local administrations in Moldova and Romania have announced new procedures regarding public transportation rights and services.
In the Anenii Noi district of Moldova, the District Council is holding a competition to assign rights for regular passenger transport routes. The routes include services between Florești, Cobusca Veche, and Anenii Noi, as well as Cobusca Nouă and Anenii Noi. Interested legal and natural persons must submit applications and required documentation, such as transport licenses and professional certificates, by March 6, 2026.
In Năvodari, Romania, the City Hall has informed beneficiaries of public transport facilities that they must renew their rights once current validity periods expire. Pensioners, persons with disabilities, and other eligible categories are required to submit updated applications and supporting documents, such as identity cards and pension coupons, to the General Directorate of Social Assistance to maintain their transport benefits.
