Local authorities coordinate winter preparedness and community development

Local authorities in Ma'an and Fayoum are conducting coordination meetings to enhance public service readiness and community development.

In Ma'an, the municipality's grand committee met with the Joint Services Council and the Directorate of Municipal Affairs to prepare for the upcoming winter season. The meeting focused on emergency response, recovery plans, and addressing previous issues such as water accumulation points and drainage infrastructure to ensure citizen safety during heavy rainfall and potential floods.

In Fayoum, the Governor's Secretary-General held an extensive meeting with executive bodies to advance developmental goals. Key discussions included the 'Fayoum Al-Khair' initiative, which aims to visit villages and address citizen grievances. Additionally, officials emphasized the need for stricter regulation of tuk-tuks through new database requirements, intensified daily cleaning campaigns to manage waste, and the continued implementation of national tree-planting initiatives.
