Local authorities implement security and transport measures for Spanish festivities

Local authorities in Spain are implementing special measures for upcoming regional festivities. In Arahal, the Local Police have organized a security deployment for the Feria del Verdeo on September 4. The operation will feature up to 15 agents during the night shift to ensure public safety, regulate traffic, and monitor the municipal pavilion and horse parades.

In Tenerife, Titsa is increasing public transport capacity for the Fiestas de El Socorro in Güímar on September 7 and 8. The company will provide 20,000 additional seats, primarily through a special line (530) connecting Güímar with El Socorro. This reinforcement aims to accommodate the high volume of travelers expected during the religious celebrations, following a previous year where nearly 15,000 passengers utilized these connections.
