Local authorities in Bisceglie and Ascoli Piceno implement security and urban measures

In Bisceglie, the State Police, Carabinieri, and local police conducted joint patrols in the historic center, specifically monitoring Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II on the evening of October 24. The operation was supported by Mayor Angelantonio Angarano, who stated that citizen security and the livability of public spaces remain a priority through close collaboration with law enforcement.

In Ascoli Piceno, municipal authorities are evaluating an extension of the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) hours to better protect residents and improve the quality of life in the historic center. The proposal, supported by Urban Planning Councilor Gianni Silvestri, aims to modulate electronic gate activity, particularly during evening hours. Additionally, the administration is working to improve urban decorum by removing over ten unnecessary construction sites to recover parking spaces for the city.
