Local authorities in Oaxaca and Huejotzingo launch road rehabilitation projects

In Oaxaca de Juárez, Mayor Ray Chagoya has initiated the rehabilitation of Tuxtepec Street in the Siete Regiones neighborhood. The project involves replacing deteriorated pavement with hydraulic and asphalt concrete to improve mobility and road safety for approximately 1,000 residents. The works are funded entirely by municipal resources.

In Huejotzingo, Mayor Roberto Solís Valles has commenced the paving of three major arteries in the Santa Ana Xalmimilulco auxiliary board: Zaragoza, La Victoria, and Cruz de Piedra streets. The project will renovate nearly 2,500 square meters of roadway using high-resistance concrete to address existing issues such as sinking and damaged cobblestones. The intervention also includes painting curbs and marking nine pedestrian crossings to enhance local safety.
