Local authorities inaugurate community infrastructure in Argentina
Local authorities in Argentina have inaugurated new community development projects in the San Francisco region. In Las Heras, Mayor Mariano Hormaechea inaugurated a new paved street through the 'Mita y Mita' program, a reciprocal work initiative between the municipality and residents. Hormaechea noted that 80 streets have been completed under this modality, with seven more planned for the Prefectura neighborhood.
Simultaneously, in the Roque Sáenz Peña neighborhood, Mayor Damián Bernarte presided over the inauguration of the Neighborhood Council for Prevention and Coexistence headquarters. The new facility, renovated with assistance from local youth groups, serves as a space for community institutions to organize workshops, educational support, and collaborative social growth initiatives.
