Local book presentations held in Pandino and Torella del Sannio

Two distinct book presentations took place in Italy, focusing on regional history and political memoirs.

In Pandino, Professor Stefano Leoni presented his book, ‘Santelle, in giro per Crema e dintorni’. The work serves as a travel diary documenting various ‘santelle’ (small shrines) throughout the Crema territory, explored via bicycle. The event, hosted by the Lions Club Pandino Il Castello, highlighted the historical and artistic significance of these shrines, including those linked to historical battles.

In Torella del Sannio, former Mayor Antonio Lombardi presented his book, ‘Da grande voglio fare il SINDACO’. The memoir outlines Lombardi’s 33-year political career, which included four terms as mayor and leadership roles in the Union of Municipalities and the Mountain Community. The book reflects on his personal experiences and his continued interest in political engagement.
