Local breweries and cafes announce permanent closures

Two local dining establishments have announced their permanent closures.

Source Urban Brewery in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood will close its doors after five years of operation. The brewery, which opened in September 2021, decided not to renew its lease at the 1101 Frankford Avenue location. The establishment is scheduled to host its final weekend on August 15 and 16, 2026.

In Missoula, Miller Creek Cafe has announced it will close at the end of August. Located at the Linda Vista Golf Course, the cafe cited ongoing financial and emotional challenges as the reason for the closure. The owners noted that operating the small restaurant has become increasingly difficult over recent years.
