Various retail and dining establishments opening or renovating in Saitama and Tokyo

Several local businesses in the Saitama and Tokyo regions are undergoing changes, including renovations and new openings.

In Saitama, the FamilyMart Meishin Ichinomiya store is temporarily closed for renovations and is scheduled to reopen on October 29, 2026, with a three-day sale. The Shimamura Washimiya store is also temporarily closed for remodeling from October 26 to November 6, 2026, with a renewal opening set for November 7.

New dining options are emerging, including cafe tarte plus in Kuki City, which opened on October 28, 2026, specializing in tarts made with domestic wheat. In Kawagoe, the crepe shop Crepe et Espresso to Toki no Kane began its pre-opening phase on October 26, with a grand opening scheduled for November 2, 2026. Additionally, the bakery madoca BAKE is expected to open in Imafuku in December 2026.

In Tokyo, the popular kushiyaki restaurant Satomura is planning to open a new location, Satomura Keisei Takasago, near Keisei Takasago Station in early November 2026.
