Local business updates in IJmuiden and Zwolle

In IJmuiden, Verwijk’s Gebakskraam will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the city and the North Sea Canal by distributing free oliebollen. On Sunday, November 1, between 12:00 and 14:30, the stall located on Lange Nieuwstraat will provide one free oliebol per person while supplies last.

In Zwolle, De Buurman is set to open its third VersLokaal at the Forelkolk location in Zwolle-Zuid this November. The shop will take over the site from Bakker Blom, a family business operating since 1913. The new location will combine Blom’s traditional bakery products with De Buurman’s selection of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, cheese, and locally sourced goods.
