Local businesses close in Augsburg and St. Ingbert

Two local hospitality businesses in Germany are closing their doors. In Augsburg's Bismarckviertel, the cafe ‘Oh Coffee’ will close its location at Bismarckstraße 4 on October 18 after approximately one year of operation. Operator Christoph Steinle stated that the lease for the premises was not renewed. Steinle is currently searching for a new location in Augsburg to complement his existing business on Ludwigstraße, which will remain open.

In St. Ingbert, the bistro ‘Krempels’ has closed after ten months of operation. The establishment, which featured an upscale bistro menu ranging from traditional recipes to seafood, struggled to maintain customer interest. According to reports, many guests found the menu too experimental and preferred more mainstream options, leading to a decline in patronage that the operator, Ben Schäfer, could not overcome.
