Local businesses in Hirtshals and Aalborg announce closures and changes

Several local businesses in Denmark are announcing changes to their operations. Café Bawærk in Hirtshals will close its doors on September 27 due to personal reasons. The owner expressed hope that the historic building on Hjørringgade 9 will find new life through a future tenant.

In Aalborg, the ice cream shop Guf og Kugler is ending its season on September 26. While the shop will not host its traditional Christmas event in the Aalborg location this year, the festivities are being relocated to the shop's Nibe branch. The move to Nibe is intended to provide more space, easier parking, and food service opportunities.
