Local businesses in Izumo and Okayama announce closures and relocations

Several local businesses in Japan are undergoing changes. Kofukuya LOG Koyama, a second-hand clothing store located in Koyama, Izumo, has announced it will close on September 22, 2026, to allow the owner to pursue new challenges. A closing sale is planned for September.

In Okayama City, the calligraphy specialty shop Seibun Meido Okayama Main Store will relocate from its current location in Nodayacho to Mori no Machi Grace Office Square starting in September 2026. The move is due to the aging of the current building. The shop will be temporarily closed from August 17 to August 31 for relocation preparations.
