Local businesses in Matsuyama and Yokkaichi announce September 2026 closures

Two local establishments in Japan have announced upcoming closures.

In Matsuyama, the rice flour churros specialty shop ‘BAY Matsuyama’ will close on September 30, 2026. Operated by Niigata-based K&S Co., Ltd., the shop opened in September 2023 and is known for its 100% rice flour dough fried in rice oil.

In Yokkaichi, the cafe ‘Salon de Thé Morozoff,’ located on the 11th floor of the Kintetsu Department Store, is also scheduled to close on September 30, 2026. The cafe, operated by the confectionery brand Morozoff, is noted for its views of the sea and Yokkaichi Port.
