Local communities celebrate municipal days in Croatia and Serbia

Local communities in Croatia and Serbia are holding traditional celebrations. In Savska Ves, Croatia, residents marked the village day with a parade, music, and gatherings organized by the local Volunteer Firefighting Department. During the event, the Mayor of Čakovec, Ljerka Cividini, highlighted recent infrastructure developments, including the construction of a new social and fire station and the modernization of a local observatory.

In Kuršumlija, Serbia, the municipality is celebrating its municipal day and the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The two-day program includes awards for top students, religious services at the Holy Trinity Church, a procession to the Saint Nicholas Monastery, and a formal academy. The festivities are organized by the municipality in cooperation with local religious and cultural institutions.
