Various local communities in Spain are hosting events to promote local commerce and celebrate seasonal traditions.

In Zamora, the ‘Día del Comercio’ will take place on October 17. Organized by the City Council and AZECO, the event aims to strengthen the bond between local shops and residents. The celebration includes a musical tribute to Melendi in the Plaza Mayor and a prize draw offering up to 6,000 euros in rewards. Customers can collect raffle tickets from participating businesses to enter the draw, provided they are present during the prize distribution.

In Arteixo, the traditional Magosto festival will be held on October 9. Organized by the Asociación de Empresas de Arteixo (AEMA), the event features autumn-themed workshops and chestnut distributions. Residents who make purchases exceeding 10 euros at associated establishments can participate in creative workshops or redeem tickets for free chestnuts.
