Local community and cultural events scheduled in Italy

Several local community and cultural events are scheduled in Italy for early September 2026.

In the Brescia region, the APE community will hold a two-day meeting at Rifugio Romangelo in Zone on September 5 and 6. The program includes hiking excursions, such as a trek from the Croce di Zone to the summit of Monte Guglielmo via Rifugio Palmarusso. The event includes social gatherings and discussions regarding future programming.

In Calascibetta, the eleventh edition of the ‘Archeo Passeggiata’ will take place on September 5. Starting at 4:45 PM from the Vallone Canalotto Byzantine Village, the 6.5 km walk passes through the Realmese necropolis and concludes at the Sanctuary of Madonna di Buonriposo. The event is free to participate in, and early registrants may receive commemorative items and vouchers for local food products.
