Local community and cultural events scheduled in Italy for September 13

Various local cultural and community events are scheduled for Sunday, September 13, across different regions of Italy.

In Legnano, the Mercato della Terra will return to Piazza Mercato from 9:00 to 13:00. Organized by Slow Food Legnano APS in collaboration with the Municipality of Legnano, the market features seasonal agricultural products sold directly by local producers. The initiative aims to promote biodiversity, food education, and sustainable distribution models outside of large-scale retail. Items available include meats, cheeses, honey, wine, and seasonal vegetables.

In the Salento region, the Borgo Terra project in Muro Leccese will host the second evening of its “TERRA! Questo non è (più) un borgo” program. The event includes a talk titled “Vuoto a rendere” at Palazzo del Principe, focusing on housing policies, European funds, and the sustainability of small Italian towns. The evening will also feature a videomapping performance titled “Tra cielo e terra” and an exhibition titled “SuttaTerra.”
