Local community anniversaries celebrated in Poland
Two local organizations in Poland recently marked 30 years of service to their communities through religious and social celebrations.
In Orzechówka, the ‘Sursum Corda’ parish choir celebrated its 30th anniversary with a commemorative Mass led by Father Wojciech Szmuc and a concert titled ‘Deo Gratias’. The choir, which currently consists of approximately 25 members led by organist Maciej Kuśnierczyk, was founded through a local initiative and has performed at various regional and parish ceremonies since its inception.
In Kędzierzyn-Koźle, the Caritas parish team at St. Eugene de Mazenod celebrated three decades of providing aid to those in need. Led by Maria Kasprzak and a group of 17 volunteers, the team organizes weekly food packages for approximately 60 households, supporting between 105 and 128 residents each week. The group receives support from local residents, businesses, and the Food Bank to maintain its operations.
